Sodium Chloride B.P	0.6 gm
Dextrose Anhydrous B.P	0.90 gm
Water for Injections to (U.S.P specifications)	5.0 gm
Calcium Chloride-2 H2O B.P	100 ml
Water for Injections to (U.S.P specifications)	100 ml

• Single dose container for intravenous administration.
• Clear colorless Solution.
• Sterile.
• Non-pyrogenic.

 

Dosage and Administration;

• The dose is administered in accordance with the age, weight and clinical condition of the patient.
• OR as prescribed by the physician.

 

Indications

• For fluid and electrolyte replenishment.
• As a caloric supply source.

 

Contraindications:

• Diabetes
• congestive heart failure
• hypokalemia
• hypernatremia

 

Pharmaceutical Precautions

• Not to be used if container is leaking or the solution is cloudy.
•  Protect from sunlight.
• Do not store above 30 C.
